    Do Single Property Sites Work?

A single property web site in itself isn't going to bring you much traffic or do much good but a single property website that is properly advertised in search engines will make all the difference in the world. Good property website providers will optimize your property site and even submit it to other online directories and search engines.

When creating your single property site or choosing a single property website provider, make sure and look for the following things.

    • Will your listing website come with additional web page links to a map, calculators, city data, print flyer, your other listings link, send to a friend link, virtual tours, area amenities, local information and more?
    • Will the property site be posted to top classified ad directories?
    • Will you receive a FREE virtual tour for your listing?
    • Will your listing website be available for at least 1 year?
    • Will the listing website be properly coded for search engines?
    • Will your property site appear in a natural google search for search phrases that relate to your property type and location?

    Single Property Sites

If done right single property websites can really drive traffic and leads to your listings. What better way to advertise your property listing then to give it a unique website address that is the same as the property address? Direct your clients and buyers to an easy to remember website property address.

You REALLY Need To Check Out Sprout. VERY COOL!

Okay - I just spent some time creating my 1st sprout and I must admit I am pretty amazed. Sprout is a widget creation tool like no other. It allows you to custom create your own custom widget. You can add feeds, create slideshows, add videos, buttons and tons more. You have full control of the size of your widget, colors, etc. I was able to create the following sprout in under 1/2 hour. Visit http://sproutbuilder.com/ and try creating your own sprout for adding into your AR blog, website, online real estate flyers or use it as a listing tool for your clients listings. Very Cool!

Google Maps Steet View - could be the next widely used tool for selling real estate

Google recently launched a street view on Google Maps. This allows you to zoom in on the actual street and see what the street and surrounding houses look like. How cool is that? I know most buyers look at the street, surrounding houses and condition of the neighborhood when deciding if a house is right for them. This will allow buyers to do just that without ever stepping foot on the street. Google currently only supports some cities so I don't see this being widely used until more areas are supported but as they do add more cities I can see this being a valuable tool in real estate.

Check to see if your street is available and get widget code for your blog
    1. Go to Google maps http://maps.google.com/
    2. Type in your location and click search maps
    3. Click the "Street View" tab on the Google map
    4. All available street view locations will have blue bordering. Click on any street with blue bordering.
    5. Get the widget code by clicking the "Link to this page" and use the "Paste HTML to embed in website" snippet to paste into your blog or website.

See http://googlemapsapi.blogspot.com/2008/03/street-view-in-api-or-how-i-spent-my.html for more details. See the following for a street view on a San Francisco, CA street.
